Three Dogs, Two Bridges

I don't know about where you are, but here on Exmoor, the sun has been scorching this week. So much so, that it's all you can do to roll down to the nearest river with friends.

It's late, and I'm not yet into the bloggy swing of things, so I'll let a few photos do most of the talking.

We started with a particularly doggy trip to Landacre Bridge for a picnic. If you know the way, there's a pool deep enough to dive into.

Next to Pool Bridge campsite for the evening. Making tea is a little more dramatic when you're camping.

But so much more satisfying in the end.

The river seemed much drier than before, to the disappointment of a dog that could swim in circles for hours if given the chance. Sorry Zeb.

Luckily another river pool was discovered further downstream. With its own water slide!

It's hard to come away from a couple of days like this without a warm feeling of peacefulness. I hope you have had a chance to get out into the sun and frolic too.
